A Message to our Trusted Clients about the Coronavirus Outbreak
Posted on 03/11/2020Dear Valued Friends and Clients,
As we navigate the current world of travel, Destinations recognizes that the recent news and uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) may have you taking a deeper look into your current travel plans, and future options. Whether you already have a trip booked or are looking ahead for upcoming travel, we want to let you know that we’re working daily to assess any new impacts and updates to travel policies to keep you informed.
We are in the business of making vacation dreams come true, and during this coronavirus outbreak, we want to give you options to change or cancel your most important vacations. It is also important for you to know that we are monitoring the US State Department and CDC advisories and other global organizations and governments to be sure we have the most current information so we can act accordingly and as quickly as possible. Please understand, these changes are occurring daily, and we are doing our best to be in contact with you as quickly as possible.
Every airline, cruise line, and tour company has a different policy and we want to offer you the best possible scenario for your situation.
We are addressing itineraries with travel in March and April first. We encourage those of you with travel planned for May or later, to consider waiting before seeking to change or cancel your booking, as the situation and related policies are apt to change.
We know this is a difficult time for your families and businesses, as it is with ours, but we are in this together. The travel industry will persevere, just as we always have in the past.
Sincerely,
Your friends at Destinations
